    Text - My boss was one of those people who watches a TV show and thinks that makes him an expert on something. Apparently, last weekend he watched Mr. Robot or something hackery, because Monday he came in and told us "All Linux is banned from the building because it's a hacker 0S" He made it absolutely clear that he would accept no arguments, not even from IT, since we were "hackers" if we used it and should be fired. He told IT that anyone caught using Linux should be written up.

    Text - So I complied and blocked all Android devices in our office, the Linux-powered vending machine in the lobby, turned off all of our Linux-based Wireless Access points, and shut off the Linux- based TV in the lobby. I compiled a report of the people using Linux devices in the building (literally everyone, including him [Yay Android!]) plus a full report of what was going on, and CCed the owner.

    Text - Boss was fired by the owner about an hour later for failing to even do a Google search before implementing a massive, destructive ban. This wasn't the Boss's first time pulling stuff like this, and the owner had enough of his shit. Owner thought my compliance was hilarious, and told me "I better see this on Reddit tomorrow." Well, here you go Gary. Sorry I'm a day late.
